With so much talent coming out of Jamaica everyday it is the hardest thing to burst through the pack and attain superstardom in the reggae music business. The small island nation of Jamaica produces the most music per capita in the world each year. Shocking statistic – I know. I have to do my part in highlighting that which I consider to be exceptional talent. Introducing a new artist by the name of Cen’ C Love…
The daughter of Bunny Wailer, the living legend and original band member of Bob Marley and the Wailers, Cen’C comes from a long legacy and musical tradition, but is a star in her own rights. I first heard her in the studio in Atlanta and was instantly captivated by her skills on the guitar, combined with melodious vocals, and wholesome lyrics. Her debut single “A Little More Time” is now receiving air-play in Jamaica and around the world. Cen C Love was recently featured in Suzie Q’s new artist spotlight on ReggaeTopTen.com where you can also view and VOTE FOR the “A Little More Time” music video. Check out this future reggae idol – Memba me tell you!
Definitely a unique sound. I love that she seems to sing “effortlessly” — no dramatic neck straining an ting…lol. Thanks for sharing. She’s one to watch out for, indeed!
