Musiq Soulchild and Syleena Johnson‘s new reggae duet single, “Feel the Fire,” has been recently featured on Ebony Magazine‘s website. The Grammy Award-nominated duo released the single Tuesday, July 16, 2013.

The single was produced by Kemar “Flava” McGregor, and will be featured on Musiq Soulchild and Syleena Johnson’s upcoming reggae duet album, “9INE,” due for release September 2013 on the Shanachie Entertainment label.

We regret to inform you that the Health and Wellness Reggae Music Festival stands cancelled for August 17th, 2013at the Wren’s Nest. The reason for the cancellation has to do with the impending inclement weather.
 
We hope that you will understand the circumstances under which we have taken this decision. We apologize for any inconveniences caused.
The Festival WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR A LATER DATE!!We will advise you of the new date as soon as we have it confirmed. The location will remain the same at the historic Wren’s Nest in Atlanta Georgia.

Check out roots reggae culture crusader Anthony B‘s new album Tribute To Legends.

Anthony B revealed why he decided to pay homage to the greats on his new album.

“I chose to make a tribute album to first show how much these legends influence my music and my life.I think a lot of our young people need to know where we are coming from musically and to help them be better in the future,” said Anthony B.

The 16 track album features covers of songs from ten musical legends. Included are reggae icon Bob Marley, Toots and the Maytals, the late John Lennon, Ray Charles, Elvis Presley and Peter Tosh to name a few. Tribute to Legends is a joint project with Born Fire and Masterone Productions.
